The signature FloYo class consists of vinyasa yoga sequences where SUP sun salutations will flow into lengthening and strengthening poses, balance postures, breathing techniques and even a little play time on the boards. The focus of the class is having FUN while using core stability to improve the overall functioning of the body and build a stronger more balanced physique.
A more athletic interval based class, FloYo Fit will begin and end with the signature FloYo warm up and cool down but will incorporate paddle drills and functional movements on the boards to create an interval based workout. It is a bootcamp styled class which includes interval based training, body weight exercises and paddle drills to get your heart rate up and build strength.
This class is designed to help you slow down and find peace and serenity on the water. The water lends itself to relaxation and the restorative postures will be held longer to allow for a full release easing the body and invigorating the spirit. You will leave this class feeling relaxed, refreshed and connected to nature.
SUP Level 1
Learn proper paddle technique and drills to take your paddling to the next level. Whether you are brand new to SUP or an experienced paddler, we are confident you will gain a lot of new knowledge from this 60 minute SUP Skills class.
These classes will include a combination of land based yoga, SUP skills and FloYo. All classes begin with an introduction to paddling on the land followed by a group paddle to help you learn the foundations of SUP. Then be ready to challenge your core while putting your mind at ease with a 60-minute workout. The focus of the classes is having FUN while using core stability to improve the overall functioning of the body and build a stronger more balanced physique. All paddling and fitness levels are welcome.
